Digium Switchvox Music On Hold Message Installation
Before you begin, save the on hold audio file provided by our studios to your computer in a convenient location, such as your desktop. Follow the steps below to customize your digium Switchvox music on hold.
From your Admin Web Suite
Go to Tools then Music On Hold
From the Song Tab:
• Click the Upload Song button to display the Song Information popup.
• Click inside the Song to Upload text box to browse your PC for your OnHold.com custom music on hold message file to upload.
• Add the file to your existing group by selecting the group from the dropdown menu.
• Click the Upload Song button, which redisplays the Songs tab with the new music on hold message file now visible in the list.
Note: Changes to music on hold will only take affect after a software restart of the PBX. After your changes are made, press the red Restart Software button to restart the PBX. Any active calls will be dropped.
You’re ready to play custom music on hold messaging from OnHold.com to every caller via your digium Switchvox MOH 6 or higher phone system!
